General Question Answers

1.1. Q: How do I set my own avatar?
1.1. A: We use Gravatar short for Globally Recognized Avatar. You need so sign up on Gravatar using the email address you used in the registration on this site and set your desired avatar that you can use in any site the Gravatar function.

1.2. Q: How to become an Author?
1.2. A: To become an Author you need first to submit a layout to us and we will then take care of the rest.

1.2. Q: How to make a Screen Shot of the Layout?
1.2. A: Follow the steps below.

1. View your layout using your favorite browser (eg. IE, Firefox etc).

2. Hold Alt+PrintScreen. And it will capture the active window in this case your favorite brower(eg. IE, Firefox etc.).

3. You can now paste the captured image into your favorite image editing program, in this case we will use the Microsoft Paint. Click “Start” then click “Run” and type “mspaint” and it will open the Microsoft Paint.

4. You are now going to paste the capture screen. Select “Edit” then click “Paste” or simply by Pressing the Ctl+V. And you will the the captured screen in the Ms Paint.

5. Last and the most important is to save the captured image. Select “File” then “Save As.” Enter the filename of your layout and select JPEG as the File Type. And you’re done!

1.4. Q: How to avoid Bandwidth Exceed on background image?
1.4. A: To prevent your layout not showing your background image be sure to save the background on your own using your any image hosting site like ImageShack. Just download the background image using the mirror sites and upload it in ImageShack then Find the line
background-image: url(http://imageshack.us/oldfilename.jpg); and paste the new url of the background
background-image: url(http://imageshack.us/newfilename.jpg); and you’re done!

2.1 Q: How do I post my layouts?
2.1. A: Using your Author account login to this site and go to “Admin Panel” then click “Write.”
Fields to be field up.
Title: <Enter the Title of your Layout>
Post: <Enter the Layout Description>
Tags: <Enter words that describes your layout. This is important if you want your layout to be easily searched>
Screen Shot URL: <Enter the URL of your layout. You can upload the image to ImageShack for free. Images should be 300×200 px. If you dont know how to resize your image, just enter the url of the screen shot layout and we will resize it for you.>
Requested By: <Enter the names of the people who requested the layout or leave it blank.>
CSS Code: <Enter the CSS Code of the layout.>
CSS File URL: <NO NEED TO ENTER ANYTHING HERE>
(In the right site of the “Write Post” page Go to “Categories” and Check the Category name that you want your layout to be posted. Ex. If your layout is about Anime select the Anime Category.)
